Our Story
Mbo is a land of extraordinary potential — blessed with fertile soil, rich marine life, and an industrious population. Yet for years, structural barriers like limited access to skills training, funding, and market linkages have held back its economic promise.
The Mbo Skills & Entrepreneurship Development Plan is a bold response to this challenge. Born under the Mbo Arise Project, it is designed as a 12-month roadmap that equips youth and women with industry-relevant skills, formalizes small businesses, and creates sustainable livelihoods.
This initiative signals a new chapter: one where the people of Mbo are empowered to build prosperity for themselves and their community.

To implement a structured, community-driven skills and enterprise development program that leverages local strengths, global standards, and strategic partnerships to reduce unemployment, strengthen MSMEs, and promote innovation in Mbo LGA.
